Are you feeling caught up with all the noise and stress of day to day life? Whether it be the addition of a new baby, anxiety or concerns in your pregnancy journey, a recent loss, an upcoming move, change in career, parenting or life circumstance; life can throw us a few curves when we are least expecting it. In my work with clients, I aim to provide a peaceful and calm setting to take respite from the chaos of life and give intention to healing, learning and becoming more mindful. With this intention in sessions, we can recognize our internal strengths and build additional strategies to cope with whatever stresses are thrown our way.

Hi, I am the owner and sole practitioner of Wildfern Counseling and Wellness. I am passionate about supporting individuals in healing, speaking their truth, and working on their personal goals. I aim to provide a supportive atmosphere where clients can feel seen, valued, and understood. In building a trusting relationship, client's can feel empowered to work through past hurt and build the mental strength to let go of negative thinking and beliefs that are holding them back. In teaching mindfulness skills, clients are able to make small changes in their daily routine, that increase overall calm and improve their mood. I especially enjoy working with clients in the perinatal period (Conception to the PostPartum period) and hold a certification in Perinatal Mental Health.

At Wildfern Counseling and Wellness, my philosophy is based on ferns being the most resilient plants in nature. The wild fern is adaptable and grows in the most diverse climates. This strength and resiliency in the wild fern is a characteristic that I aim to support and help nurture in the clients I work with.

The teenage and young adult years can be exhilarating and also some of the most stressful times in one's life. As you are learning and building your identity it can bring on many challenges as you face the pressures of navigating your future. I find that the most impactful work can be done in this stage to help a youth experience clarity, calm and resiliency. I provide counseling for young people starting at the age of 13 with a signed consent from all legal guardians. I am not currently seeing any teens in the Oregon Trail School District as i have a conflict of interest.

I am currently in network with Pacificsource, Regence Blue Cross, Moda, Cigna, Aetna, Providence, Optum/United Behavioral Health care, and Samaritan health plans. I also accept out of network benefits and submit all claims of service.
